IEP/504 parent support
Navigating IEP and 504 plans can be complex. We offer IEP/504 review, parent meeting preparation, suggested goals and accommodations, service discussion points, and support for parent input statements. We can also attend IEP and 504 meetings with you.
Reading and math academic support
Beyond traditional tutoring, we provide one-on-one reading support, math skill-building, homework help, and foundational skill practice. Our focus is on building confidence and understanding for lasting academic success.
Student success coaching
We empower students with essential life and academic skills, including study strategies, test-taking techniques, organization, coping mechanisms, emotional regulation, self-advocacy, mentoring, and motivation.

Monique's HEART offers private educational support services that are different from regular tutoring. I help to educate students and their families about ESE programs, their involvement in annual IEPs/504 meetings, including rights and safeguards in education, and provide students and families the confidence to advocate for them self in their academic settings, social/emotional situations, and independent living.
With over 20 years of experience as a former ESE teacher, support facilitator, case manager, and behavior specialist, Monique brings unparalleled understanding of ESE (exceptional student education) programs, IEP and 504 writing with goals, accommodations, services and interventions for students residing within district school systems. Outreach programs in the community and connections to other service providers, such as ABA Therapy - for RBT and BCBA connections.
